Getting to Gosau
By Car
Lead-in:
From Salzburg take the A1 and then A10 motorway south to junction 28, Golling.
From here follow the 162 to Voglau. The road then becomes the 166 to Gosau. This is a very pretty ride passing through several villages and small picture postcard towns. As you descend the road into Gosau, turn right at the T-junction at the bottom of the hill and then almost immediately left. Follow this lane for about half a kilometre to the Sport Hotel.
By Public Transport
Lead-in:
Buses go from Salzburg to Bad Ischl where you need to change to the bus going to Gosau.
Alternatively, you can travel to Golling by train and then catch the bus direct to Gosau from there.
Taxis can be hired from the airport to Gosau.
